JerseyFest 2017
JerseyFest 2017 was this past weekend, September 9th and 10th, at the Newark Airport Mariott. Turnout was lighter this year than last, most likely attributable to a new venue and the odd weather around the country at the moment. That being said, there was a lot of great work on display, some fantastic seminars, and a well-stocked dealer’s room. Some photos below. If you have the chance, definitely check it out in 2018!
September Meeting and Newsletter
The September meeting had a good turnout. Primary Colors was the theme of the monthly contest, with several entries. The winners were Mike Terre with a 1/72nd scale Ki-9, and Stan Stankewicz with a 1/25th scale 2014 Camaro. Well done, guys.
Also, this month’s newsletter, the MosquitoGram, has been uploaded to the Newsletter page.
JerseyFest this Weekend!
This coming weekend is JerseyFest at the Newark Airport Marriot hotel:

This a great sci-fi and figure modeling show. Well worth checking out. The only caveat I will give is that parking is EXPENSIVE, like $44 a day, so carpool or mass-transit it.
