The August 20204 edition of the NJIPMS Newsletter, the MosquitoGram, has been uploaded to the Newsletter page.
This Friday, August 9th, is our scheduled meeting and cookout. The E Board asks that everyone keep an eye on the weather and look for an email from the club in case the meeting has to be postponed. Final word will come by late Wednesday or Thursday.
The IPMS/USA 2020 National Convention, scheduled to be held in San Marcos, Texas, has been cancelled. The San Marcos loction has been moved to 2023, with 2021 to be held in Las Vegas, and 2022 seeing a return to Omaha.

With MosquitoCon rapidly approaching, all data pertaining to the show is being added to the MosquitoCon 28 page, as it is received. As usual, it looks like it’s going to be a large show.
The Upcoming Events page has been updated as well, with shows later in the year. If there’s something coming up that everyone in the club should know about, let us know and it’ll be added.

This a great sci-fi and figure modeling show. Well worth checking out. The only caveat I will give is that parking is EXPENSIVE, like $44 a day, so carpool or mass-transit it.

Also, updated continue on the MosquitoCon 26 page. Trophy sponorships have been going fast (there’s still a few left) and we’ve added a list of the vendors attending and the companies that have donated items to the raffle. 27 days and counting!
The 2017 Academy of Model Aeronautics dates and links have been added to the Upcoming Events page. NJIPMS modelers receive $2 off the price of admission when your NJIPMS membership card is shown at the time of ticket purchase.
The New York Society of Model Engineers have their annual model train show over the next few weekends. Also added to the Upcoming Events page. There are three separate model shows this weekend.
Due to your editor’s busy travel schedule this summer, the newsletters and website updates have been a bit sparse. That being said, both the June and July newsletters have been added to the Newsletter page.
Check the website between now and the Nationals in early August for word if there is to be any club outing in Columbia during the event.
